Battalion Chief Shane Holmes
      
Battalion Chief Shane Holmes joined the Fire Division of the Maumelle Department of Public Safety on July 12, 2004. He became a founding member of the Maumelle Fire Department upon its creation on December 20, 2004. He was promoted to the rank of Captain in November 2008 and the rank of Battalion Chief on October 3, 2015. Chief Holmes served two separate two-month appointments as Interim Division Chief in 2014. Chief Holmes has been awarded four Meritorious Service Awards for Lifesaving, the Ten-Year Good Conduct Award and was the 2005 Maumelle Firefighter of the Year. He is also an adjunct instructor for the Arkansas Fire Training Academy.

Battalion Chief Drew Nichols
      
Battalion Chief Drew Nichols joined the Fire Division of the Maumelle Department of Public Safety in July 1996. He became a founding member of the Maumelle Fire Department upon its creation on December 20, 2004. He was promoted to the rank of Captain in 2004 and the rank of Battalion Chief on October 3, 2015. Chief Nichols has been awarded three Meritorious Service Awards for Lifesaving and the 15-Year Good Conduct Award.
