Maumelle
police officers and firefighters examine the scene after two patients were
extricated from this SUV on Commercial Park Drive shortly before midnight
Friday, March 19.

Captain
Drew Nichols gives closer inspection of the vehicle after Maumelle firefighters
cut the roof away to free two trapped occupants. Maumelle's Engine 1, Brush
1 & Chief 501 responded to the scene. Metropolitan EMS responded to the
scene with two ambulances and a supervisor.

It
appears the vehicle -- the only one involved -- left the roadway, struck
one tree and uprooted another before rolling onto its side.
