At
1549 May 13, 2005, Maumelle firefighters were dispatched to a motor vehicle
accident with injuries at the intersection of Maumelle Blvd. and Country
Club Pkwy.

Upon
arrival, firefighters found lone occupants in each of the vehicles. Fire
personnel accessed both of the involved parties for injuries.

Firefighters
also contained automotive fluids that spilled onto the roadway.
|
 |
An
undeployed airbag can inflate at any time following an accident. This situation
is dangerous to emergency workers and any occupants that remain in the car.
In the case of this vehicle, firefighters disconnected the car's battery
to help prevent a deployment.
