| Firefighters
found heavy smoke showing upon arrival at Building Three of the Millwood's
Landing apartment complex. The smoke quickly turned to heavy fire and interior
crews were pulled out shortly before the roof over the northern half of the
building collapsed. Master streams from Engine 1 and Truck 1 were then used
to knock down the heavy volume of fire. |

 |
| Following
the roof collapse, firefighters temporarily established exterior operations
to prevent further fire spread into the south half of the
building. |

Engine 4, Engine 6 & Car 931 from North Little Rock; Engine 16, Engine
9, Truck 9 & Battalion 9 from Little Rock; and Engine 1 from Oak

| Although
half the roof is missing, a good stop by firefighters prevented further damange
to the building. Fire damage was contained to the two upper floor apartments
on the northern half. The remaining six apartments suffered smoke and water
